    Creation of information and production systems for providing individuals the data about education questions IPS «OSVITA» began in 1996 in pursuance of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 704 «On improving the protection of educational documents» on June 29, 1996 Today, it is a complex administrative, legal, software and hardware and hardware that provide the construction of a single integrated information environment of the country in the field of education.

    IPS «OSVITA» allows to create a unified information structure of data, ensuring their authenticity and integrity, reliable protection mechanisms to restrict access to data quality improving working conditions of the system users, which are members of the structural units of the ministries, departments and institutions.

    IPS «OSVITA» is fully integrated with sole official electronic database in education YEDEBO. IPS «OSVITA» performs the following tasks:
    – creation unified information and software of collecting and updating of information about schools, pupils, students and alumni;
    – formation and constant updating of current database of pupils and students of educational institutions of the country (including digital photo);
    – monitoring and control of the educational institutions of the country by creating a unified database of schools;
    – enhance document security in education against counterfeiting;
    – identification (confirmation of the existing document and reliability of information displayed in it) and authentication (setting the person who made ​​the request for production of documents) issued by IPS «OSVITA» documents.

    To date, the information base of system consists of more than 20 million records and includes information about all the educational institutions of Ukraine regardless of their form of ownership, authority and level of accreditation . principle of construction is the progressive registration of each phase of the persons educational level and appropriate document state. In other words, the fact that the person receiving the certificate or high school diploma is recorded in the system in the manufacture of this document and confirms the end face of an educational institution.

    When entering college, vocational school, technical school , college or university students (pupils) are issued student (student) tickets state standard to be registered with the system. After graduating and passing the benchmark tests will receive a new graduate educational qualification level and appropriate education certificate that confirms this fact.

    Thus, a person can not get a degree without professional enrollment, which is confirmed by the information in the system of granting student (student) ticket and receive data on her previous educational levels.

    The software IPS «OSVITA» enforce validation of educational documents directly on the site osvita.net, completing pre-registration and noting details of an existing document.

    Actions for transition to the new version of Education

    1. Save a copy of the DEGREE.GDB file from C:\Program Files\Osvita\Education For FireBird\DataBase\ or from the directory C:\Users\Public\Documents\EducationData\DataBase\ (depending on the user’s own OS settings) to another directory, this is your database file;
    2. Uninstall the previous version of the program via “Add or Remove Programs”;
    3. From the directory of the new version 2.3.0.8 run the file setup.exe and install the new version of the program.
      Importantly! On OS Win 7, 8, 10, run the setup.exe file on behalf of the OS administrator (right-click on the file, context menu “Run as Administrator”);
    4. Connect to the Education program, call the menu “Administration” – “Import (update) directory…”. After updating the directory, continue working with the database;
    5. Update the program on client machines that connect to the database server remotely.

    IMPORTANTLY! From version 2.2.9.7 the program works with the new version of the node directory, the file Dovidnyk.dov When you try to download the directory of the outdated version, the program will issue a message about the need to replace it. You can order a new directory on the website dodatok.osvita.net Schools and vocational schools receive a directory from the responsible person in the adjacent node, RSO/CITY/Regional Center.
